Hi y’all, welcome to the first of many run on sentences, wispy words strung together not always making sense, delicious recipes that will always be gluten free, mostly plant forward, that I’m hoping will be a warm invitation to more plant based eating that won’t scare you off & instead will encourage you to take it for a test drive that will lead you on the path toward feeling & looking better from the inside out, as well as enjoying nutrient dense nourishing sustenance. Bonus points that plant-based eating not only can help heal our bodies, it can also help heal our planet. What else will you find here?… I’m so happy you asked. You’ll run into rants about many mindfulness practices that I’ve used, or try to use daily. I encourage you to take one of these for a stroll while on your search for peace of mind.

Drinks galore, in the form of coffee, specifically hot cold brew, mocktails, tea, a turmeric latte & the list goes on. Feel free to keep your coffee cold, alas, I will not… I like my coffee hot year round. I don’t drink much, I used to like a pretentious cocktail & nowadays I feel better without the alcohol, so you’ll have pretentious mocktails you can share with the kiddo’s & friends in search of an adult beverage sans the alcohol, yet feel free to add your spirit of choice.

I’ve worked as a Personal Cheffy for so many years & love sharing some great entertaining & hosting tips. For example, if one of your guests is gluten free, make everything gluten free! You’ll turn into the favorite friend to hang out with, of that gluten free person because in the end, you are willing to make everything as welcoming for them as you do for everyone else. When it happens for me, I feel so valued, like “they really get me!” It’s an inviting feeling for me & I know it is for others as well. I’m excited to hand hold you through some party planning to create some peace of mind & more

connection with your guests, rather than running around with your head cut off not having time to connect with anyone because of all the things you’re taking care of. The whole point of having people over is to grow those relationships, let’s get you prepared for the best hosting experience ever!

As your unofficial nutritionist, I’ll be delving into some ideas on how to upgrade your foods into nutrient dense options. They will be full of flavor, color, goodness, clean ingredients, love & plenty of hugs for your stomach, as well as hugs for the cells that make you up too. I’ll even be including some lessons on fermenting veggies like carrots & kimchi. That said, I cannot tell you that anything can prevent anything, I can only suggest it might be helpful… fun times. I’m a nerd for a crafty project when the opportunity strikes, so I’ll include some of those here as well. A seasonal tablescape, gnomes for every holiday & upcycling everything I can get my hands on.

Not to mention some good for the earth, good for your home, as well as good for you & your family, cleaning & bath products like soap for your body & the kitchen. I’m a tree hugger with a granola adventure spirit from way back growing up on Mount Hood, picking huckleberries, hiking, skiing, getting my hands dirty digging up garden candy carrots & hanging out with as many pups as possible all at once. A blanket of puppies sounds like the loveliest thing ever… that & a blanket of stars to wish upon. Nature is my favorite way to see the world, so walking through it on every continent I visit, is a dream come true & I can’t wait to see more of it & share that with you here.

I’ll be including some fun challenges that I do on occasion, such as hydration, targeted exercises, sleep which is one of my favorites & of course, opportunities for good hearted people helping people.

Looking forward to connecting with you here. Till then, thanks for stopping by. Much love & gratitude. Ciao my babies!
